NGC 281 Pac-Man nebula. December 2, 2019

This is the first more or less adequate result with the Optolong L-eNhance 1.25 “filter. The filter cuts off most of the city light pollution, but at the same time passes the H-alpha, OIII and H-beta lines. Ghosting appears around bright stars, but personally they don’t bother me, I will continue testing the filter.

-Sky-Watcher AZ-GTi mount.
30 frames per 120 s.
Calibration with PIPP, stacking with Fitswork.
Fullsize.
Location: Russia, Anapa, backyard.

It is interesting to compare the result with another picture taken about a year ago with a monochrome camera QHY5III178m and a 12 nm H-alpha filter:
