  1. Did you determine the entrance pupil diameter to check if the 0,95 f-stop really is correct?
    My 25mm f0,78 has an entrance pupil of 25mm – so it actually is „only“ a f1 aperture!

    • Oh, i will try to make it today. Surface brightness is constant when i zoom lens from 7 to 33 mm.
      The diameter of the front lens does not always have to match the actual aperture, as some lenses also need to capture wide beams of light.

  3. Interesting review. To determine the number of lens groups I use a sharp light source e.g. Laserpointer. The number of reflections counted divided by 2 can be to number of lens groups (kitted lenses often don’t have reflexions on kitted surfaces).
